Review of Monsieur Batignole (2002) by Jason V — 27 Nov 2008
A very good story!
Gerard Jugnot (great actor, and also director of some movies, like this 1) leave his Paris' home during WW2 for a trip, to save his 2 jewish's childs' neighbours from the fucking nazis.
A great, cute, touching story of a guy, not really concerned, interessed by the awful jews' fate, who become an hero, risking his life to help these 2 childs to pass from the occuped France to the free Switzerland.
An excellent road movie, full of emotion and some very funny things, although the situation.
