Review of Modern Romance (1981) by Jack B — 24 Jun 2008
I have to say, I thought this was brilliant. And I did not expect to.
EDIT: I'm actually in love with this movie. It's sort of the epitome of everything I want in a film. I can't believe I hadn't even heard of this till I literally stumbled upon it at 4 in the morning on TV less than a week ago.
PS: Do not be alarmed by it's atrocious DVD cover art (which is thankfully not featured here on Flixter). It is in no way(and I mean, NO way) a reflection of the film... there isn't even a scene on a roller coaster, that's just one of those brilliant metaphors that stupid DVD graphic designers with no taste come up with after reading a plot summery.
