Review of Miranda (1948) by Kevin M. W — 18 Apr 2015
In April of 1948 the Brits released a fantasy about a doctor catching a mermaid while on a fishing vacation in Cornwall. The fantasy though is the least part of the work, which was cobbled together seemingly just to get to the laughs.
Nonetheless, due to the warm performances of the cast, as well as those cutesy little bits of humor, the piece is favorable overall, and one does not feel as if one's time was totally wasted.
