Review of Miracle at St. Anna (2008) by Angela B — 02 Mar 2009
I loved this movie. I don't go for war movies but the concept of the 'miracle' is what caught me. I liked the religion and spirituality in the lives of these people fighting in a war and the civilians caught in the crossfire.
We see the typical military leaders concerned with only defeating, then the men on the front line who have a conscience. The scene with everyone praying the same prayer in their own language to the same God was deep.
