Review of Mezzo Forte (2000) by Chris H — 15 Jul 2007

Looking at the cover of the dvd box, I didn't know what to really expect from this film. It looked like a run of the mill, average spy chick flick anime. I had come to watch this with the full intent of trying to understand a universally deep plot, a movie that I craved after watching this garbage. This whole movie had everything, awful voice acting and blood and gore. Oh did I forget, theres two completely unecessary long scenes of hardcore sex. Anime sex. If thats not enough to make you vomit, add all that up, put it in a blender, and make a donkey snort it with a twenty. The only redeeming quality to this "film" is the killer soundtrack. The soundtrack included tracks that mimicked other spy films in the past. (Such as James Bond). With the soundtrack being the only anchor that gives the meaty weight of a score of 1 out of 5 stars, this is garbage that should be left alone in your fridge. Its that bad.
