Review of Mary, Queen of Scots (2013) by Ching T — 16 Sep 2013
Although there have been numerous film interpretations of Mary Queen of Scots' life, this was the first one I'd seen myself. The movie really brought to life what a dreadful politician she was, making one mistake after another.
I especially appreciated the film's unique style. The music was reminiscent of "Psycho," and several scenes with a tilted camera speeding across the Scottish countryside added to the horror movie atmosphere.
I also liked the Greek chorus commentary of a deceased character.
