An amazing story of how a man, beaten so severely, he lost all memory of the first 38 years of his life, and cut off from needed mental and physical therapy, provided it to himself through a fantasy world he created that is also truly art.
The filmmaker strikes just the right tone and lets you appreciate Mark Hogancamp's struggles, his talent and his fears and concerns as his work gets discovered.
