Review of Marquis (1989) by Sylvester K — 11 May 2012
It's a visually grotesque and yet symbolic film, it's not difficult to see what the director intended for the viewers to understand. The script was beautifully crafted, costumes were superb. Loved the metaphors of the animal masks which described the characters well.
The film is truly a masterpiece that covered all of the genres.
