The concept of this film is proper wierd. The Marquis de Sade is a dog in prison, run by other rubbery animals who seem to share his penchent for filth. He has a talking bellend for which he is writing grumble stories and who is obviously meant to be metaphorical devil on the shoulder of the Marquis.
You'd think it would be difficult to take such a film recipe and make it quite boring wouldn't you. Well, they managed it. This is possibly the weakest French film I've seen.
