Review of Marigold (2007) by Urmi C — 19 Jan 2008

I wanted to love this movie, but so much got in the way. The pacing was awkward, the script was fairly original in some places and just plain dire in others. I was expecting more of an impact, but the songs (why were there so few) were quite bland.

This could have been on a par with Showgirls as an unbelievable excellent bad movie, but it was let down by bad sound (it was flat) and a director who didn't seem to know what to do with actors who tried to make the movie for him.

..thank god they tried, but an actor can only do so much!
