This really offbeat comedic treatment of several serious topics (teen pregnancy, abusive negligent parents, teen delinquency, emotional disturbances in adults) is a tough way to break into acting. Scarlett Johansson is brilliant as the younger of two sisters who are running away from failed foster care after being "rescued" from their drug addled mother.
I liked the movie.
