Review of Manhattan (1979) by David S — 05 Apr 2011
Possibly Allen's most beautiful and well-rounded film (though Annie Hall retains a minuscule edge over it as far as personal favorites go), Manhattan is a sweet, funny, and melancholy masterpiece. I watched it again only about a week ago and was still blown away, despite having seen it so many times before.
