Review of Magicians (2000) by Huw G — 04 May 2018
The humour you expect is there, but the story arc is not on the scale of a Hollywood blockbuster - although it's very much written to leave you feeling good. Obviously that hasn't gone down well with most critics, but it really is enjoyable.
A lot of fun characters, and loads of background detail.
