The promise of this film, including the fantastic cast, beautiful scenery, and lovely costume choices did not fulfill. Mia Wasikowska as Madame Bovary is dry, dull, and lacking of that special, strong will and passion that Flaubert gave us readers.
Her romances seem forced and Mia lacks the want that Madame Bovary posses. There are no Dramatics in this Drama!
