Review of Lured (1947) by Jack G — 26 Jan 2010
Hard boiled melodrama, like Melonoir. It's something I'd be interested to see more from Sirk, though I'm not sure how many of these he did. Great to see Lucille Ball outside of her sitcom; apparently she was called for a time the 'Queen of the B's" for roles like this.
Not very great, but very interesting movie all the same.
