Review of Lucy (2014) by Robin B — 13 Aug 2015
That's where you are all wrong. Lucy is a fantastic movie, the movie of movies. Anyone who has taken LSD or any hallucinogen can tell you the shocking thing is that human perception is pealed away and yes you do have pure thought, you do see and feel everything. The film is not only based on a premise, "What if?" it actually supports ideas and precepts that Edward Cayce and others claim about the information bank of the world. It was a most beautiful film. The only thing silly about it was that we really don't know everything, and the more knowledge we gain, the more we don't know, so we can only speculate.
I highly recommend this movie.
Scarlett Johansson is a great female role model. If she is considered sexy, so be it: at least she is a sex symbol is not half-starved, who doesn't have such tiny facial feature a newborn baby would be jealous of, and who is up front and "there".
