Contrary to its reputation, there is a lot of fun to be had with this movie about a get-rich-quick scheme spiraling violently out of control. You just need to be aware going in that the movie is not quite so light-hearted as the trailers imply.
The humor is much darker and most all the characters are motivated by greed. Especially entertaining is Bill Pullman as an infuriatingly lazy and disinterested police officer.
