There are so many elements in this film that could have allowed this to give the wrong impression, however with a seasoned director and cast the film gives just the right mood and message about a business that most have black & white opinions on.
This walks the fine line does what it should. it is a nice light hearted drama alot to offer but it is a rental at best. Always thought Joe Pesci was one of the coolest guys in movies, he hasn't been in very many films so it is nice to see him in this one and playing the kind of role he is good at, the cocky gangster type, well pimp this time.
Never knew he could sing.
