Review of Love and Distrust (2010) by Blessy A — 14 Nov 2010
*1/2 (out of four).
Several A-List actors lend their time to this episodic look at love. The likes of Amy Adams, James Franco, Robert Downey Jr, James Cameron and Sam Worthington star in several different short films that are loosely linked together by the theme of love, or lack of trust in some cases.
Few of the segments make much sense and most are a waste of time. If I had to pick the best it would be the one with James Franco as a man looking for the troubled young woman who took his cell phone from a commuter train after he accidently left it.
Each section is only about fifteen minutes and doesn't allow it's characters to more than one dimensional.
