I watched this film with my niece, and I couldn't get over the fact of how much we both liked it. She'd dealt with bullying a lot in middle school, so when she saw the social media stuff with the actors promoting all this anti-bullying stuff, she asked if I'd watch it with her.

My expectations were not high, but I was so taken aback by how much I liked this movie. The message is great and all the boxes are checked (diverse cast, strong women, recognizable TV stars, etc.), but I really wasn't planning to laugh about it as much as I did.

As my niece said, "You don't really expect a funny bullying movie." No, you don't. But I'm glad it exists.
