Review of Lola Versus (2012) by Michael K — 11 Jan 2013

You spend a lot of time not really liking the main character but at the same time you kind of understand what the initial events have done to her emotionally. You're watching a person who is essentially a wreck that keeps bringing relational troubles on herself with her confusion and willingness to bed anyone who will sleep with her. I did, however, like how it all ended. That despite all the back and forth with the men in the film she wound up finding out she didn't need to be in a relationship to find happiness and peace with herself.

The guy who played Luke seems to have a hard time opening his mouth when he speaks. I don't know but I was annoyed every time he spoke at length because of this.
