Review of Logan's War: Bound by Honor (1998) by Robert B — 29 Jun 2009
The biggest problem with this movie: Too little Chuck. It may be Logan's War, but who gives a piss about him? Chuck disappears for far too much of this movie, but of course is there to bail out Logan's ass in the end.
This whole thing plays out like a TV movie, hell it probably was one. A lot of Chuck staples in this movie, a military background, Chuck being widower, teaching a young kid the way of the Chuck. Eddie Cibrian who plays Logan, might be the greatest example of the teachings of the Chuck.
He rescues a downed pilot by himself while killing about 50 bad guys. He then goes deep undercover and above the law to exact revenge. Chuck would be most proud, if he was in more of the movie that is.
