Review of Little Chenier (2008) by Sean C — 04 Sep 2009
Little Chenier is not without its flaws, but there are some twists that caught me off guard and I personally enjoyed the ending (not the alternate ending). Though I'll admit the ending isn't completely satisfactory.
It ends too quickly and leaves a few narrative details too loose. The story was fascinating and the film felt very authentic. The director made sure to really immerse the audience in the steamy town.
