Review of Lincoln (2012) by Kevin L — 15 Nov 2014
Day-Lewis brings to life a great figure at a time of great conflict. Performance enthralls, convincingly, throughout, without hesitation or hiccups. Fingerprints of past Spielberg touchstones are embedded in the smallest of places on-screen (opening scene, e.
G.). A gem to cherish and enjoy several times over.
