Really amazing documentary about a really amazing guy. I love how this film goes into the history of Roger and his family, but then tells the story of the relationship he had with Gene over all those many years.
There are great outtake clips from their PBS program that show you that the tension they had on screen was not an act, but in reality always there. These guys were competitive, and Roger always wanted to beat Gene.
But you find the reason was because of a deep and mutual respect and love they had for each other. Amazing film!
