Review of Latter Days (2004) by Stephanie C — 18 Oct 2004
A great movie all in all. I have lived around the LDS community, and well granted they are not as narrowminded as they are depicted in the movie, the deleted scenes on the DVD allow for you to see the other side of LDS people.
Over all though, this movie is a great one about love overcoming all bounds, and it is powerful. The emotions which Elder Aaron Davis feel in the movie are true to life, real powerful, and not at all exaggerated.
Cox did an excellent job considering the budget allowed for this movie. The actors were excellent and the movie was done tastefully, despite it being a rather controversial issue. .
