Review of Lane 1974 (2017) by James M — 02 Oct 2017
Lane 1974 is the must see coming of age film of the decade. This is an impressive and authentic piece of art with a fresh look at the coming of age film genre. As a period piece, Director SJ Chiro does a fantastic job visually capturing the counter culture movement and the nixon-era.
SJ Chiro's authentic tapestry of characters, landscape, sound and music propels this movie into a space I have not experienced within American cinema for a long time. It's fresh, thought provoking and a genuine masterpiece - it's genius!
