This is the best coming of age movie I have ever seen. Greta Gerwig's debut film is detailed and beautifully relatable. Every scene is its own work of art, meticulously scripted and thought out. The film is truly flawless! Saoirse Ronan and Laurie.
Metcalf give amazing performances in such subtle ways. I have never witnessed such an accurate portrayal of a mother/daughter relationship on screen before. The film is so entrancing and real that you forget it is an actual movie. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.
