Review of Kuso (2017) by Corey S — 21 Jul 2017
The biggest mindfuckery in recent horror movie (or perhaps film in general) history comes in the form of an LA earthquake used as a wraparound for an anthology of vignettes surrounding a number of deranged and deformed individuals, including, but not limited to, a young woman and her "transdimensional" roommates, a gender ambiguous child who may or may not be trapped in a sitcom, a man who goes on a visually stunning existential journey to overcome his fear of breasts, and a young boy who spreads his excrement to a penis-like creature in an asshole-shaped tree stump. All subjects I never would have typed otherwise.
I'm a man of the most bizarre and demented taste in cinema but this is the grossest thing I have ever seen. Kuso is an experience that must be seen to be believed. ABSOLUTELY NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART OR UNCORRUPTED.
