Review of Killers (1997) by Bobby L — 26 Nov 2009
An odd indie that tries too hard to be Tarantino-esque, but not a horrible effort. Set in a warehouse, a drug deal goes wrong, and the people start blaming each other etc. The acting is sometimes too broad and over-the-top, but I've seen worse.
The editing is good, as are some of the visual cues that play into the mood, but it's has a very been-there, done-that feel and can't escape it's low budget acting.
