Review of Killer Movie (2008) by Dave G — 04 Feb 2009
The crew of a reality show being filmed in a remote North Dakota town find themselves stalked by a masked killer. OK, so it's not the most original concept, but it's entertaining if you like the genre or are fans of the cast.
The best work comes from Paul Wesley as the director, Kaley Cuoco as a Paris Hilton-esque Hollywood brat, Cyia Batten as a bitchy producer and Al Santos as a cameraman. All of the cast members are easy on the eyes - there's even Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl) and Robert Buckley (Lipstick Jungle) in smaller roles - but you know in this type of flick most of them get stabbed, and there's no gratuitous nudity despite such an attractive bunch.
Not overly gory and there really aren't any scares, but it's well made and you could do a lot worse.
