Review of Kill Theory (2009) by Garland H — 17 May 2010
Steals a lot of conceptual stuff from Saw and it's bevy of psuedo-quasi-intellectual gore fare in it's use of what are known in the psych field as social dillemas. Oddly enough these things work great as setting up scenarios for psychological warefare (psy-ops shit) and on the other side of the coin, ethical and moral dillemas. "What do you do, Keanu Reeves, what do you do?" That aside...the only things I found redeeming about this movie was the revenge thing for the asshole shrink and the music playing over the end credits, which just happens to be one of my favorite tracks from that artist, who are both somewhat obscure.
If this is film was trying to make a statement about how people are really all "dog eat dog" and not to trust others...trust me that theme has already been overplayed by Fox news.
