Review of Kill List (2011) by Jason L — 13 Aug 2012

Very few horror movies scare an old pro like me...this one did! A genuinely frightening film that can not be categorized and is impossible to predict. Here is a hint. Listen to the rather slow setup of the characters and the plot.

The Cockney accents made it a bit hard to understand so put on the English subtitles for at least the first half hour. The music ( if one can call it that) was as perfectly eerie as any I have ever heard.

The film is directed and shot with superb detail and some of the shots are just plain stunning. It is very gory but it is not gratuitous gore...it truly fits the twisted story to a T. Acting..perfect and I have been this scared very few times.

I even moved quickly to turn the light on when the credits ended. Do not miss this one horror fans! Ken K.
