2: Davis looks great. I still don't really understand the fascination that gay culture has with her and Crawford, but she works well enough here. Bogart and Robinson turn in decent performances as well, but everyone seems to basically be going through the assembly line motions.
This is no ones best picture, especially Curtiz's.
