Delightful family comedy about Jews and that crazy rites of passage, the Bar Mitzvah. Piven is, as always, rock solid and Garry Marshall turns in a surprisingly touching, sharply comic performance. For those looking for a sweet-natured family film that won't insult your intelligence, this is a sure bet.
