Review of Keep the Lights On (2012) by Alan W — 11 Nov 2012
As a niche gay film, this is definitely above average and competently executed and acted. But outside that niche, it becomes a more generic indie drama though still a very decent watch. Not as good as Weekend last year but still moving and heartfelt.
Kudos for the casting of the main duo - making them more real and 'normal' instead of going for the usual good looking model types - and they can act too, which helps.
