Review of K-19: The Widowmaker (2002) by Daniel G — 18 Dec 2007
Gripping, and powerful, From start to finish you can't believe what's happening considering this is based on true events it makes the story even more compelling. Take two hot-headed guys, put them on a submarine, see who takes who control, see who among them betrays the captain, and officer, and see the sad, but touching ending.
We Americans learn alot about Russians we never knew by watching this, we should really appreciate each other's cultures. That and at the end it's nice the U.S. wanted to help the Russians out, instead of have them blow each other away with their subs, or ships.
