Review of Julieta (2016) by Frances H — 28 Feb 2018
Heartbreaking story of a woman who loses just about everything in her life, but the one to which she cannot reconciliation herself for the longest time, is the loss of her daughter. A story of crippling guilt, clinging on to hope, and then ultimate finding of what was lost, beautifully told by Almodovar's script and deft direction with powerhouse performances by Suarez and Ugarte.
