Review of Jubilee (1978) by Alice Q — 19 Dec 2007
A punk postcard from 1977, a lot of this film has the feel of a quaint period piece, and quite juvenile in places, basically a punk sequel to Rock Follies. The soundtrack is great and there is a curio factor in seeing Jordan, Jayne County and pre-pop versions of Adam Ant and Toyah larking about a post-nuclear, pre-Thatcher Thames London.
If that's not your bag it's a bit of a rock and roll swindle.
