Review of Jiro Dreams of Sushi (2011) by Caesar M — 11 Jul 2012
Jiro Dreams of Sushi is a passionate, beautiful film about a man's quest and perhaps achievement, at being the greatest at what he does, in this case, making sushi. It's not only an amazing study of a variety of sushi's and how they're made and where the meat comes from and so on, but a touching and even sad at times examination of a father and his sons and what his stern hand and ingrained work ethic has done to shape them.
A must see whether you like sushi or not.
