A thinking person's movie, "Jindabyne" is a film that will not win you over right away. Several questions are not answered, leaving you to fill in the blanks yourself. Laura Linney is, as always, impeccable and Gabriel Byrne is also adequate as her husband (they work well together - check out the also enjoyable "P.
S."). The cinematography is also intoxicating ... "Jindabyne" is easily one of the year's most intense films, a drama that was sadly overlooked by most audiences.
