A cheap movie with lot's of cheap laughs, but that doesn't mean it isn't funny. It's just phoning it in. But good lord it's got a lot of great bits peppered in with the painful awful terrible medocrity.
I mean, "I will sucker punch you in the box!" (As Jiminy gets ready to fight his wife) is a line for the ages. Plus most of it is a half assed Lynch parody, and just watching Martin Short dressed up as Lynch makes me laugh.
Of course, the stupidity gets on your nerves, but this is just as good as the half assed comedies of the 80's that these guys (Martin, Murray, hell even spies like us) used to make. Not terribly orginal or well made, but full of good cheap laughs.
Remember. Just fart jokes are always funny. No matter where they come from. (The butt).
