Review of Jackie (2016) by Gary B — 11 Dec 2016
Natalie Portman is superb. Worthy of the nomination, perhaps the Oscar. The script is also outstanding, giving Portman so many opportunities to give life to the many facets of the first ladies ordeal, while expressing great depth and versatility as only a truly accomplished actress can.
While I was among the 60+ early-show-Sunday crowd, I was heartened at seeing 20-somethings and younger in attendance as a sign of respect and interest in paying homage to one of the most significant icons of their parents generation.
