Really sad, and really uplifting. Jack and Sarah is one of the best British movies of the 90's. the story is told in an extremely real and honest way. Richard e grant makes a snobby middle class man completely venerable and likable.
Not often do you feel empathy towards characters like this but grant pulls it off. The rest of the cast are great too, Ian Mckellen inparticuler. the music is wonderful, and the whole film will leave you feeling good and happy.
