This film is the most shocking and controversial film I have ever witnessed. I love Monica Belluci and I love Vincent Cassel so I instantly felt an affinity with the characters. The idea of the plot playing out backwards could of worked out badly where it not for the visionary, artistic, brilliance of the director Gaspar Noé.
