Review of Into the Night (1988) by Derrick V — 16 Oct 2007
One of the ignored movies in John Landis' canon, this all-nighter movie is a messy guilty pleasure. Insomniac Jeff Goldblum and mystery gal Michelle Pfieffer careen through L.A., constantly shifting between comedy, action, grisly thrills, and muted romance in the process.
Lots of wild stylistic ideas abound, from filmmaker cameos to a score featuring B.B. King.
