Review of Intersection (2018) by Phillyeagle22 — 18 Jun 2018
I really loved the story. It's a slow burner that sneaks up on you. Even though, it was clearly shot on a limited budget, the movie reminded me of some of the noir-ish films from the seventies. A fascinating character study of a man dealing with guilt from the accidental death of his only child.
Now, he's lost his way and fights for some reason to make sense of his life. A chance encounter with a charming woman seems to revive hope but it turns out she also has a dark past and things become..
.complicated. Two strong performances by the two leads and a surprising twist at the end really left me self-reflecting. I highly recommend.
