Here's a word of advice. The first time you watch this film, don't try to follow it, don't try to analyze it. Just let it wash over you. Then watch it again and try to make some connections.
Between my wife and I, we think we've figured it out. It's not an easy film to understand, but the challenge is all part of the fun. Laura Dern plays an actress who has just gotten a part in a new film.
When the truth behind the film is revealed, her life begins to spiral in and out of the realities of our world. One thing is for sure, you've never seen anything like INLAND EMPIRE.
