Review of Inequality for All (2013) by Angie H — 20 Nov 2013
This was a very entertaining and well presented documentary. The film is filled with much gentle humor about the "dismal science". Apparently, Robert Reich (on faculty of Un of Cal @ Berkeley) had to be persuaded to star in this movie about some of his economic theories/teachings.
Much of the humor is based upon Prof Reich's diminutive height (4'11"). He drives a Mini Cooper. It just feels rite. He carries a small step stool when he goes to give speeches (so he can be seen above the podium) etc. etc.
There are many interviews, statistics, and other illustrations of his basic pointes. The visuals, including some cartoons, are very imaginative, and well done.
It was a good trip to the flics.
