Review of In Tranzit (2008) by Russell B — 22 Aug 2010
Saw this on Star Movies, and quite an interesting tale, a bit slow at times though. Set against the German invasion of Leningrad, it showcases the bonding between the Women officers at a POW camp for captured German officers and the German prisoners.
One of the few WW2 movies that shows it from a POV of the Germans. John Malkovich is deliciously evil as the sadistic Russian camp commandant, and Vera Farmiga proves she is one of the best acting talents around.
